Brighter, whiter, natural, more uniform smile
Instant results and minimally invasive
Easy maintenance and highly durable
Crafting youthful smiles through anti-ageing dentistry
WHY PORCELAIN VENEERS ARE THE BEST?
There are two main types of veneers available in the dental industry and they are known porcelain and composite resin.
Veneers made of porcelain are still considered better than composite veneers due to these qualities:
- Stain-resistant due to its poreless nature
- Highly glazed glass surface mimics the light-reflecting shines of natural healthy teeth.
- Longer lifespan: lasts for 15-20 years
- Stronger material made of superior strength, which is more durable and resistance to fracture.
- High correction ability: Able to correct a large range of teeth problems that resin veneers cannot.

How Long Do Veneers Last?
On average, porcelain veneers can last around 15-20 years before they need to be replaced. However many can last indefinitely if they are maintained well with proper care and regular dental treatments. You can extend the lifespan of your veneers by
- Good brushing habits with fluoridated toothpaste
- Proper use of dental floss
- Wearing of night guards for patients who grind at night
- Regular dental check-up and cleans, and most importantly
- Avoid biting hard foods or substances (e.g. Crabs, bones, ice-cubes, beer bottle caps)
Composite resin veneers may only last for 4-8 years.
What Are Porcelain Veneers Made Of?
Porcelain veneers are made of a material called eMax (a special restorative material fabricated from lithium disilicate glass ceramic). The translucent lithium disilicate radiates true beauty and offers superior strength as it isvery durable and resistant to fracture.
Do veneers make your teeth sensitive?
Temporary teeth sensitivity can occur immediately after your dental veneers placed, however this is only temporary, and will subside within 2-3 days.
How is the quality of porcelain veneer's dental treatment in Taiwan?
The quality of the porcelain veneers in Taiwan is extremely high. Dr.Woo practices in both Sydney and Taiwan, and hence combines the most advanced knowledge, newest updated techniques and technologies of the East and the West.
We see customers from Canada, Australia, Singapore, LA, Hong Kong, Macau, and Japan- and having seen and serviced so many dental veneers from different counties, our team can confidently conclude our veneers are of top world-class quality.
What's the difference between Porcelain veneers vs. Other veneers?
There are two main materials used when it comes to veneers
- Porcelain veneers
- Composite veneers
Veneers made of porcelain are considered the best at resisting stains due to its poreless nature, and the highly glazed glass surface mimics the light-reflecting shines of natural healthy teeth.
Veneers made of composite are made from a resin material. For those who aren’t too sure what composite resin means- it’s a plastic material (the material we use for “teeth fillings”)
Can you get veneers on just top teeth? If so, How many veneers do you need?
Yes, you can do upper teeth only. We recommend atleast 8 upper veneers as usually these teeth are the most visible display when talking and smiling.
If financial cost is a concern, customers can concern getting 8 upper veneers first and whiten the bottom teeth with bleaching gel, to reduce the colour mismatch.
